Working on a car site...
Came up with this for a splash page.

not bad. im guessing you used outer shadow on the word "racersedge". brighten it up just a smidget more. just a smidge.

actually for commercial sites, I would have to agree, keep it light and clean.
but ..........OH we do love colour when it comes to personal sites, we are all "artists" at heart, and colour and shape is life!

I actually think the black background gives a very prestigous look. If that's what you're going for ofcourse!
Racer's Edge? Sounds very Fast & Furious to me...haha...
I've done a couple of car sites as well! Your design is looking good!

haha ya fast & furious I'm not much of a car guy,
didn't even know what this F&F bussiness was all about.
Still haven't seen either flick, don' think I will any time soon either.
ah & well here's a new design i did for the site.

i liked the first one more. good work. for more graphics on the site i think you should add motion blurs to show a sense of speed. |
