I make slides that we display on the wall at the front of our church before services. The wall is a light tan, so when I project a picture the colors are off and it is a bit too dark.

Is there some way I can fix this with Photoshop?

TIA!

Very interesting question.
This is all guessing as I have not experience with this...
Try change the hue of the image to the colour opposite/complementary of tan.

Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation

Also maybe try change the levels to make it brighter. Apparently when projecting onto coloured walls the images will always be darker.

Image > Adjustments > Levels

I don't think there is any way of testing this in Photoshop because I have my doubts about layer blending modes imitating the scenario.
Easiest way to tweak would be by using Photoshop while protecting onto the same wall and adjusting the settings live to see what works the best.
Make a note of the change in hue and levels then you can apply the same changes to images as desired without the need to proof your outcome.

I'm guessing there are other people who have come across this problem so Google might be your friend on this occasion.
