hi all,
I am new to this forum.
I am using photoshop cs3.
I want to change my brush color.
I tried color picker and color swatches but always my brush color remains as white.
what can i do here?

With the brush tool selected click on the fairground color. In your case it's the little white box on the bottom of the tools pallet.
A box will open and you can select a new color, click OK
Type the (D) default key to set the default colors back to black and white.
Use the (X) key to toggle between the foreground and background colors. |

I said i have tried with the color picker already.
but the color choosen in the colorpicker is not applied to the brush whatever the color may be set to the fore ground color it just stick's to the white color dont know how to change it.

You may have a corrupt preferences file.
Shut down PS.
Hold down all three Ctrl+Alt+Shift buttons
Now "while keeping those button held," open Photoshop
As Photoshop loads, you should get a prompt asking if you would like to "delete the Photoshop settings file", Click yes |
