I would be really grateful if anyone could help me produce a logo for a website. I REALLY want to learn more about photoshop and though I've tried many times I think I need some expert help with this logo - pleeease.

The logo needs to incorporate the text go2whitby. I'm unsure what would look good, though like the idea of incorporating either a sense of movement (to represent go2) or some clever way of taking the go2 bit and incoporating it into an image. The site is about an historic seaside town in the UK that has links to fishing, an ancient abbey, captain cook, whaling - any of these would be a great source of inspiration for inclusion.

Any help would be really appreciated :)
Thanks
Steve.

aye up! steve, i'll give your logo ago. I've not been to whitby in years lol do you have any colours in mind you would like for the text? the abbey in whitby is awesome, but too many steps up to it lol ;)

Aye up Martin Big Wink

Firstly thanks very much for offering to help I really appreciate it :)

In terms of colours maybe grey/orange/black?

Thanks for comments about the town, the Abbey is certainly something but I agree 199 steps is about 190 too many :) that said an escalator might take away the charm of the place! The great thing is there are a few typically whitby landmarks like the abbey, whale bones etc that could be incorporated into a logo. I just wish I had more of an idea about Photoshop. Luckily there are decent guys like yourself that are willing to lend less skilled people a hand :)

Cheers again
Steve
